  We have been renting in Cambria for 25 years, and feel like we have rented every available property. This house was small for us - we are five - and we could not hear the ocean as we usually do, but it was our favorite house. The owners have created a warm, charming environment indoors and out. Lying in bed upstairs with the French doors open to the sweet Cambria air, watching the stars through the skylight, was a real treat. We'll certainly be back.

  This place is much better than the websites pictures depict it. The living area with its fireplace, large windows and skylights brought the coastal wilderness indoors and was very soothing.

  We were pleasantly surprised by this little gem. Lovely layout and conveniently close yet wonderfully private. Deer visitors, wonderful light for drawing and photography, we really enjoyed our stay. We didn't take full advantage of all the facilities (eg the BBQ) due to time but were so excited to see the possibilities for next time. We especially loved being able to bring our dogs with us. it wouldn't have felt like our whole family was with us without them. My two year old keeps asking to go back to "the new house". I hope one day we will. :)

  just a heads up about the mouse droppings.never saw any but they let you know they are around. loved all the deer and wild turkeys going by and looking in on us. a real treat for our kids. we would definietly stay there again. we usually stay near the water but this was a nice change and the easy close access to the trails into the nature reserve was fantastic for us all. the Bose radio and all the windows and skylights were a treat.

  I tried calling the Realtor's office after my stay, they did not return my call, I wanted to bring to their attention the cobwebs and spiders everywhere, also the upstairs bathroom, every drawer of the vanity had animal feces, if there were more people staying, we would have had a problem.

  This was a beautiful home! Perfect location especially being so close to hiking trails. It was exactly what we were looking for. Unfortunately, there is a mold problem and for those of us that are allergic, it makes for an long weekend. It didn't bother my partner though at all. Aside from that, we'd rent this again in a heartbeat!
